Present:   Commissioner Kelly Gaskill, Commissioner Darlene Likens and President John Richwine. 

Also Present: County Administrator, Tom Ecker, Deputy Auditor Nicki Young, Attorney Jeff Graham.

Motion: to approve December 6, 2022, regular meeting minutes as presented.

Motion: to accept claim numbers 209635 through 209958, all payroll and all Auditor’s discretionary claims.

Motion: to accept Ordinance 2022-BC-O-13, Ordinance Extending Moratorium on Special Use Applications for Certain Large-Scale Energy Systems, in name only.

Play >>  Lisa Hobbs, Elwood Building Commissioner, requests Board to approve order to demolish structures located at 7536 West State Road 28.  County Attorney, Jeff Graham, provides clarification that there is in existence an interlocal agreement between County Planning and City of Elwood that provides for demolition of condemned buildings very near the limits of the City of Elwood to be performed by the City of Elwood. 

President Richwine provides opportunity for members of the public to comment on matter.  No one appears to make comment. 

Motion: to grant permission to City of Elwood to demolish property located at 7536 West State Road 28.

Motion Passed. 

Kelly Gaskill abstained.
