Play >> Jessica Bastin indicates that the ARPA Leadership Team met with regard to the proposal of Commissioner Likens to provide compensation to County employees. County employees cannot be elected officials and have to be currently employed at time of issuing of payment. The ARPA Leadership Team is requesting the Commissioners to approve such payment to employees utilizing a 3-tiered system as follows: $1,000.00 to employees who work less than 28 hours per week; $2,000.00 to employees who work between 29 and 39 hours per week; and $3,000.00 to employees who work 40 hours or more per week. The ARPA Leadership Team question as to whether payments could be made from restricted ARPA funds or unrestricted ARPA funds.
Motion: to adopt and pass to County Council at their meeting this evening the 3-tier payment to employees as proposed by Leadership Team from the restricted ARPA funds.
